OPEN CALL FOR PROJECTS WITHIN the ITMO.IMPACT TRACK

CATEGORY DESCRIPTION

This open call is intended to find and support projects in a variety of fields that aim to achieve the goals and results of Strategic Project 1: ITMO.Impact.

The proposed projects must result in systematic changes and produce new, high-quality outputs (new models or technologies) for the market, business, or society.

RESULTS AND EFFECTS YOUR PROJECT SHOULD PRODUCE

development and/or implementation of commercialization models and promotion of entrepreneurship;
establishment of joint labs with the top names on the market in the form of open shared-use sites and applied corporate labs (TRL 3-8, TRL 5-8);
development and/or implementation of open-source solutions (including digital science and open validation methods; openness of ITMO’s educational system);
development and/or implementation of technologies aimed at fostering academic and professional communities under the aegis of ITMO;

replication of ITMO’s best practices and technologies, including programs for support and development of academic staff and open science, at other Russian universities;
collaborative projects with the Government of St. Petersburg, involvement in the city’s agenda, and development of urban services;
development and/or implementation of technologies aimed at supporting and engaging successful ITMO graduates in the university’s development.
